Coalition of Irish Republican Women

The Coalition of Irish Republican Women was formed in the spring
of 2007 in the U.S. Although formed by women, we have many
male supporters and do not discriminate on the basis of gender.

We support a united, 32-county Irish republic, free from British
rule and occupation.

Our three core principles are
* The British must completely withdraw from Ireland
* Ireland must be reunited
* All republican political prisoners must be released
unconditionally

We believe in justice, equality, and peace. However, we know that
neither peace nor justice will exist in the six occupied counties
until all representatives of the British government leave Ireland
and all vestiges of British occupation are expunged.
In truth what has been achieved is worse than nothing because the forces of
constitutional nationalism have once again brokered an agreement which accepts that
partition can be legitimately permanent. That agreement was designed to end
opposition to British Rule in Ireland. Its aim was to update and normalise British rule
and to have Irish men and women administering it.
